Grace Employee One: Do you think we should change the name of this?
Grace Employee Two: Nope.
Grace Employee One: Really?
Grace Employee Two: We’ve been calling it that since 1922.
Grace Employee One: Yeah, but… you know… cock flavored soup. I mean come on. Just say it out loud. Once.
Grace Employee Two: WHAT ARE YOU DOING
Grace Employee One: I’m tired of these goddamned rules about never saying “cock flavored soup” out loud. Someone has to break the silence.
Grace Employee Two: STOP PLEASE GOD STOP THEY’LL HEAR US OH MY GOD
Grace Employee One: COCK FLAVORED SOUP

If you work hard to learn a craft and even harder to master it, if you put great thought into what you say and who you want to say it to, then there’s no better place to be published than on a website you yourself own.
Or that, despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback and kind regards from readers, no one is actually reading or, even worse, that my words are simply scanned and forgotten.I sympathise with Patrick’s thoughts here, however I think it would be a damn shame if he stopped publishing content on the Internet. I also must confess to having a lot of Pat’s content in Instapaper and Evernote, permanently saved and often referenced.

Books I’m Currently Reading - January 2012
The Girl Who Played with Fire - Stieg Larsson
Content Strategy for the Web - Kristina Halvorson
The Web - Jonathan Kellerman
And I’m listening to the Audible version of Cell: A Novel - Stephen King
I don’t know why, but I find it easier to read multiple books at the same time.
